Alongside my freelance writing and blogging, I work with several charities and social enterprises in a professional capacity. Together, we create bespoke online content that supports the aims and objectives of the specific organisation, reaching and engaging as many people as possible.
My past roles have included social media management, web content and newsletter writing, communications consultancy, online community management, and media outreach work. I love my current charity roles so much that at present I’m no longer seeking additional longer-term commitments, but I do have availability for singular and shorter-term projects.

Charities I’ve worked for include Scope, ME Association, Action For ME and Astriid, and I’ve also advocated and fundraised for over a dozen others in a personal capacity.
As much as I adore working in the charity sector, it’s important to make clear that I cannot work for free. Being mindful of charities’ limited budgets, I strive to be as flexible as possible, and I’m always happy to chat about how we can work together in a mutually beneficial way. I also consider media opportunities and case study requests on behalf of various organisations, and wherever possible, offer my services in this area voluntarily.
