It gave a different perspective to all those months I’ve spent in hospital. You realise it’s tough, but not quite how tough. A brilliant book that everyone should read. Great review!

You might enjoy “The language of kindness” if you haven’t already read it – it’s written by a nurse. I’m definitely going to check out some others on your list.
