Hi. Well done. I have done the same. I did not have my hair cut for several years and just recently donated 15 in. It feels very short now but I am getting used to it and it’s such a good cause. I agree with you it’s so nice to be able to do something to help others .

Hi Pippa, thank you for your blog! I’ve found the post about work suitable for spoonies to restore my faith that if I am well enough to work again, I might be able to find something actually suitable, or at least close enough!

I wondered if you would mind if I post a link to this post on a Long Hair forum? A lot of our members have had unwanted comments about donation and it would be really nice to post a positive experience, especially one that isn’t as much about the show as the donation.
